Hatfield Credit Union is a financial co-operative run by volunteers for the benefit of the local community. it encourages members to save and it provides small loans at reasonable interest rates when needed.
At May 2008, Hatfield Credit Union had approximately 450 members who had collectively saved £190,000. Since the service started loans totalling over £690,000 had been lent out over the years.
